Biblical Interpretation and Communication

You will find a variety of resources below that will help you study God’s Word.  These resources build upon the Biblical Interpretation and Communication courses offered through IBS.

Hearing the Music of the Gospel
Often we look to the Bible seeing nothing more than a collection of ethical directives and moral imperatives instructing us in how to live.   But to read Scripture this way is to reduce it to dance steps, the do’s and don’ts of the Christian life, and miss the melody entirely.  To hear the music of the gospel, we need to understand how God intends his Word to function in our lives.  This article describes how you can hear the music of the gospel as you read the Scriptures.
